In Internet Explorer, go to tools> Options> you should see something like clear files or something and there should be another button for clear your history of web pages you went to. If you have Internet Explorer 7 (Which I recommend you download it if you haven’t already. It’s a free download). go to Tools> Options> press the delete button and another box will pop-up. It is best and fastest to press the “delete all” near the bottom of the box. It deletes all files. The last box will pop-up, it’ll have box you can check mark saying “delete all offline files as well” or something like that. Check mark this box. all passwords, and everything saved into your computer and that’s taking up space, will be deleted. Then you can go back to Tools> Options> click on the “Content” tab an click the button that says “clear SSL State”. Doing this and your computer may run faster. You should do this daily.
You can download anti-virus programs (free downloads) if you haven’t got them already.
    I recommend you downloading:
    Spybot S&D (Search and Destroy
    Ad-Aware SE Personal
and there is this anti-virus program called CleanUp. You can download those.

    for windows:
if you’ve already deleted them they might still be in the recycle bin. empty your recycle bin. or you can go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup to clear temporary files and compress old files. after disk cleanup choose Disk Defragment to further clean your system. this will take a while so close any running programs.
