How Do I Delete Virus File When My Computer Says I Need Permission?
Q. I have a file on my computer that Norton has picked up as a virus. Norton says that this file has to be manually deleted but when I try and delete it manually it says that I need permission. I am assuming that this is part of the virus. Any ideas on how to remove this file?

Definitely use a process unlocker, it will let you delete a file no matter which other process is using it.
If that doesn’t work, you can try going into safe mode and deleting the file there.
If that doesn’t work then get yourself a linux livecd (e.g. ubuntu livecd). Boot into linux using the cd and delete the file from there. This will have to work since viruses are designed to work with a particular OS and if you’re booted into another one the virus will not function properly.
It means that you have to be the administrator, and then ,do it in safe mode.
