AVG is crap! Avast isn’t much better! You need really good protection if you want to be a pirate?

The best one’s are not FREE. The free ones like AVG or Avast doesn’t have any real time protection. I would advice you to get the best AV like Kaspersky and then go for your music downloads.

Avast home is quite good and free, but it virus protections cant help you that much if you download the viruses yourself.

There is no good free one. Sorry. They are not only illegal, but puts your computer at a high risk of infection. Even if you have a good virus protection software you are not 100% safe.
Took me two days once to remove an infection, because my sister used limewire. And the computer was very protected.
If you want music and movies. I suggest you get them legally. Otherwise your computer is going to crash and data will be lost.
