When I Installed Call Of Duty 2 On My Pc, I Get This Error When I Start The Game For The First Time?

Q. My error is this;
“DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error”
and I clicked on the error, and it gave me possible reaons why it doesn’t work, and I tried all of those and it still does the same thing. I’ve also tried to re-install DirectX, and the same thing appeared. I’ve reinstalled the game also, and same problem. If anyone is willing to help me, I’m running this game on my Windows Vista.

    Ok, at first I was going to say that your computer didn’t have the minimum requirements. But since you have Vista, it may be too high to run. The game came out in October 2005 and Windows Vista came out in November 2006. The game may not be equipped to run with Vista. Sorry. :(
