Why Does The Error Killer Cleaner Start Each Time I Start My Computer ?

Q. When my desktop settings are finished displaying and the icons at the bottom, the error killer cleaner starts up. Is there a way that it can be set where it doesn’t start up each time?

The file may have been put into you start up folder. If so, you can remove it from the folder and it will not start until you select it from the program list.
Another option may be to check the options for the error cleaning program. See if there is an option to start the program at computer startup. If there is such an option, and if it is selected, make sure to unselect it.
    Hope this helps.

open the cleaner if its a windows error like scan disc thats from not closeing out windows properly thats by clicking start then the shutdown dont ever just turn the power bar off thats the error report trigger and you can lose some material on the desktop , now open the folder for the error killer then do a settings change on the program this product is it free then doent do the work without the fees if so delete it i almost fell for that one it gives reports then doent erase problems without money theres free things online and from microsoft for these problems ,, like trendmicros free scan or lavasoft .

If you want to remove it from your machine, try finding it under Add or Remove Programs on the Control Panel and removing (uninstalling) it.
If you really still want it on your machine but don’t want it starting up by itself, try turning it off in the MS Configuration utility:
    1. Click on the Start button.
    2. Click the Run… link.
    3. In the text box, type msconfig.
    4. Go to the Startup tab, see if you can find a startup item for this nuisance. If you do, deselect it.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Restart your machine.
This may or may not do the trick. Some startup programs have more than one entry in the Startup list. Nasty programs may even not have uninstallers or may purposely have uninstallers that for some reason don’t work.
    Good luck

Start, run, type msconfig press ok, click start up tab, it will probably be listed there ..uncheck it, press apply, close, restart computer.
