do seagate freeagent external hardrives work well with macs?

Q. i want a mac book or ibook and i have a seagate external hardrive that i used with my dell pc. what i want to know is will the seagate work as well as it does with my dell?

    Probably, but the only one I’ve seen that specifically has a Mac program for backup is
