Does Anyone Know The Correct Output Voltage On A Western Digital Essential Edition External Hd 500gb?

Q. I forgot mine, on vaction and I need to back some files, also where can I get one from beside western digital.

    As far as I’m aware, this is a device that doesn’t create power, therefore, i assume your referring to the input voltage. This being the case, you may want to refer to the Tech Sheet of specifications of this product on Western Digitals Website at: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.…

    Versions of these I have seen often have the correct voltage marked either on a label, or around the power socket itself. Worth a look.
