Well, most of the usefulness of video RAM is used for the resolution of the screen.

Not a bug, just your computer that’s sharing some ram with the video card.

Its because you have a 32bit os, for more than 4gb of ram you need a 64bit os or else it will display something like 3.3gb of ram i.e. what you have

you have the wrong ram for your computer, it may say that you have 2gigs of ram, but your computer reads it another way, I’m not so sure but it could also mean that your motherboards maximum is 3.3 gigs. Those two could be possible problems.

nice video. you can also plug the memory modules or memory sticks before you put the mother inside the computer case or inside the tower.

good video but you don’t need a anti static band. just touch the metal part of the case to discharge yourself, and unplug the system from the outlet. *note* on some ram slots you can’t gently push you must push with a lot of force. some ram sockets are very tight. *also regarding the comment about touching the pins…….its ok to touch them as long as your hands are very clean and dry! (oily and sweaty (salty) hands will cause a short)

you need DDR 2700 Ram, it is pretty easy to find. At frys they are selling one gig just for 19.99, which is an awesome deal that i would rlly reccomend. usually at that price, you can only get 256MB of ram
