Western Digital Elements Hard Drive plug is loose?

Q. I just got the Western Digital Elements WDE1UBK1000N 1TB external hard drive. The side of the power adapter that plugs into the drive is kinda loose. The metal part can easily be exposed and easily pulled. Is this normal? Please help. Thanks.

    Take it back. You don’t want to take a chance on exposing a wire and getting a shock.
