What are the main differences between an NVIDIA gaming card and a Quadro?
Q. I intend to work in 3d studio max. I’ve heard that Nvidia Quadro cards are more suitable for this kind of applications instead of Nvidia gaming cards. Why are Quadros better for 3D modelling instead of normal cards? I would prefer rather precise answers, please. Thank you!

I knoI would prefer rather precise technical answers, please(is there a higher bandwidth or more pixel/vertex pipelines or is it a different architecture? if yes, in what way specifically etc). Thank you!

it is a bit old, bit still applies.
In NVIDIA’s case, consumer GeForce cards are built by outside partners such as PNY, while professional Quadro is manufactured by NVIDIA internally and is therefore “vouched for,” allowing you access to technical support, which doesn’t come with the consumer cards.
Lower-end Quadro boards like the Quadro FX 380 and 580 are now just as cheap as consumer cards, yet offer these additional features not available with GeForce.
