What Do I Have To Do If I Want To Install An Ati Radeon Card, When My Computer Came With Ndvia?
Q. I removed the drivers for my old card put in the new one and now i get a directx error message. I think the problem might be in the fact that my motherboard or something had nvdia stuff and i need to download ati for it?

The motherboard should not care what brand of video card you are using. Your softward does though. Your new video card should of have come with a cd. Install the software and drivers off of the cd and you should be good. directx can be tricky sometimes. You can try to reinstall it and it should fix your problem
take the card, put in the slot and then click on my computer, go to desktop, and click on the card icon and then hit sync if it doesn’t work your gay and i hate you
Well first of all make sure you uninstall the nvidia drivers. Second make sure you go to the device manager and disable your current card. Nvidia usually likes to mess around with you so that’s why when you install and Nvidia card they always want you to disable it so it might work the other way around. Plug in the ati card into your slot whichever it is and install away. Make sure you get the latest drivers from the site and make sure you also have direct x 9.0c if running xp. Vista is another story…..
Go tohttp://ati.amd.com/products/home-office.…
and download and install the correct driver for your card.
