What Is An Nvidia Geforce 7150m With Shared Graphics Memory Good For?

Q. When I try to play Halo 2 on my HP laptop (2Ghz processor, 2 GB RAM, and 200 GB hard drive) it is extremely slow, even with the graphics turned all the way down. The geek squad told me that my nVidia GeForce 7150M would be great for Halo 2. What is wrong?

Shared memory means your ram and your video ram are now the same thing.
Somewhere in your computer is a slider that stakes out how much each one gets. Could be in the bios. Try allocating 512mb for video memory.

maybe you have to many background processors running, Go to your task manager and have a look (Crtl+Alt+Delete)
Laptops are not good for gaming.
