What Is The Easiest Way To Design A Website?

Q. I’d prefer not buying Dreamweaver and would like to build a simple website for my business. I’ve heard there are are web hosts out there who let you design your page online and have lots of pre-made templates. What are some examples of those? That sounds pretty good, but I wonder if I’d be able to sell anything on my site with a provider like that. Anyways, what would be the easiest way to create a pretty simple website that looks decent?

The EASIEST way is to hire a website designer.
If you want to do it yourself, download a FREE Yahoo Site Builder and try making a website. This program, Yahoo Site Builder, is not hard to use and you can make a good site with it. Read Help there on how to do some things that are not clear to you.
As for selling, yes, you can make a site to sell things with this program, but you’ll have to set up service to accept payments, which is the next step.

Well, one of the easiest and quickest ways to start a website these days is to start your own blog. There is Blogger, WordPress, Joomla, and several others. Its really easy, free, and there are a number of free templates you could use. If you set it up right its completely transparent to whether it uses blog software or not.
But if you are comfortable with using templates you could sign up for something like http://www.55design.com/. Its $55 for the year and there are a ton of websites that are already set up you could easily change. I know they have a whole pack of logo templates there too.
They also have a blog there that has some good tips on using templates there too.
