Distance of your room mate&#039;s pc is important. ( try to check if you are able to detect it when your wireless router is near to it. Also you might as well check if theres an error message. With winxp it will give you this error message : Wndows cannot configure.... blah blah... Go to advanced settings , then wireless properties and enable &quot;let windows configure your wireless connection&quot; (dell has its own wireless client -built-in).
