How to install linux on a mac?

Q. I just recently brought a clamshell mac to put linux on. I was wondering if there was a website out there that could tell me how to do this. Also what type of linux would you recommend installing?

I recommed Xubuntu which is one of the few nmodern distros that will run on that clamshell mac because it’s old and can’t run most modern distros of linux.

The clamshells need a PowerPC Linux distribution.

Ubuntu may be a good choice:

Others to look at may be Debian or Yellow Dog Linux.
