I&#039;ve always used 3D Mark 2001 SE to test my systems, four different computers, one test.  in my opinion the best way to see a difference. alternatively, use a &quot;benchmark&quot; game that may have difficulty running on an older system you may have and compare the FPS to the newer system you have. I use: Deus Ex, Half Life 2, Counter Strike 1.6 (with full custom extremely high poly count skins), and Counter Strike Source.</description>

I would recommend folding at home as it is a great way to test your graphics card and you are helping society.

Btw, FPS vary from game to game, so its not like &quot;O hey, my card get 40 FPS in 3D Mark, I guess I get 40 FPS in everything&quot;</description>
