Why does my ADSL connection start slow then speeds up?

Q. When I do a speed test it starts at about 200 kbps but at the end of the test speeds up to over 1000 kbps…any idea what problem would cause that.

It’s like a car that has slow take off but eventually picks up speed…

My ADSL provide is an incompetent and I am trying to figure out what he is doing wrong.

Because the longer your router is turned on, the more intelligent it gets.
That is why most routers are not turned off

what type of connection you are using if you are using a Router (Wired) connected to your phone line ?

then you must check how far you are from your local telephone exchange ADSL coverage lasts just about within 4 Kelometers if you have some noise in your telephone line it wont work properly..

so also let me know what type of package plan you have ?

    for example : 512 kbps , 1 Mbps 2 mbps ?

    Regards
