How do I find the network name and password for a wifi network from a desktop?

Q. I need the network name and password to log on from my laptop but I don’t know what it is. I have a desktop that’s online but I don’t know if I can find what I need from it and if i can, then how?

    point you rbrowser to your default gateway, log into the router and check the info
