how to split an internet adsl connection to 2 computers?
Q. I have 1 adsl internet connection and 2 computers. I can only connect to the internet with 1 computer each time. I use a wirelles linksys modem. Is it possible to connect to the internet with both computers simultaneously, preferably wireless? What equipment do I need (modem, router etc.), what are the necessary steps? thanks.

Yes you can use 1 Wireless adsl modem/router and Wireless receiver cards on the computers you want to connect.
if its a wireless modem then get a wireless network card. it will do the trick. they are fairly cheap at frys. after you by one just follow its instuctions. other then that, just get a router, very simple setup, just run the cd that comes with it and your good to go in 5 minutes.. good luck
