Bought this game for my daughter, who is 7. Her and I played it together and it was a lot of fun. She also has batman, scooby-doo and the original leapfrog 1st grade game, but this one is our favorite!!!

I got this game for my son as a christmas present. He had seen it in a insert he had received in a different game and been asking for it for awhile. I couldn’t find it any any stores so I finally looked online. I was able to buy it for under 10 dollars shipping included. The next week I went to walmart and saw the game in the clearance section marked down to 23 dollars. I was very happy to have saved a little over 13 dollars.

As for the game itself my son hasn’t opened his present yet. But on his list to santa he wrote ‘leapster games’ so I know he’ll be happy with it. And so far I have not been disapointed with any of the games I have gotten for leapster. I’m not big on letting my child watch hours of tv or play video games all day. But leapster is great for long car rides and to play occasionally at home.

This is the favorite of both of my sons (5 & 7). Of all the Leapster games that we have, this is the one that they fight over.

My 4 1/2 year old son was disappointed that he did not have any Mario games for his Leapster. Thank goodness for Sonic X!!!! He loves it and calls his Leapster a “Nintendo DS” b/c that is what his older brother has. The game is really good and he can do the simple math problems b/c it helps him pick the right answer in the beginner mode. This game will grow with him which I love too. I only gave it three stars for durability b/c it does just turn off on its own sometimes and I had a hard time getting it into the Leapster when we first got it, so I am not sure if the connection is real tight.

All in all it is a great game!!

I have a 6-year-old son with autism. He enjoys his leapster games and until now, the leapster Nemo game was his favorite. He loves Sonic! This game keeps his attention for extended periods and he has figured it out without any help. It has improved his hand/eye coordination and he actually talks to the game, which is always welcome to parents of children with expressive/receptive delays. Special needs or not, this game appears to have what it takes to amuse kids and that gets a thumbs-up from me.
