How can I setup a network that have a ADSL modem router with a Wireless router to work with P2P software?

Q. I have a QC5000 ADSL modem router and a WRT54G Wireless Router, and I cannot set a good configuration to work with P2P software such as Emule, Kazaa and Shareazaa. Can someone help me to configure it? Do I have to leave them both as routers? With NAT enabled? Help!

    Try opening the ports first.

You have to manually open the ports, because that’s what NAT does: it closes the ports. First, you need to find out what ports you need to open, and then you need to configure your router. To start off, why not telling me what the make of your router is??

If you are connected with your service provider, please ask them to open ports for those application.

If ports are opened, please open all ports of your Wireless & ADSL router
