Is it ok to switch on and off Dlink adsl wireless modem?

Q. I have a Dlink wireless adsl modem, and each time I use it I have to swtich on and then switch off after using, so is it ok or it affects the modem? or its ok to keep it on evrytime,pls advise.

I can wirelessly connect to my adsl modem to access the net, how do you use patchcables to do the same thing?
What is the difference between a standard ADSL and a ADSL Modem with router?
How can I setup a network that have a ADSL modem router with a Wireless router to work with P2P software?

There’s nothing wrong with doing this.
Your modem has an on/off switch for just this reason. If anything, you’re saving energy and saving resources.

Leave it on and forget about it. It’s generally best to avoid power cycling electronic equipment.
