How can I get my HP D1460 deskjet printer to connect to 2 pc’s at once using an adsl gateway?

Q. I have a HP D1460 Deskjet for which i have 2 pc’s. (both of these computers share an ADSL gateway). I would like to connect this printer to one of these pc’s and be able to print something off from the other one. I would also like to be able to access the other computers files from the other pc. Any help with this please?

I can wirelessly connect to my adsl modem to access the net, how do you use patchcables to do the same thing?

just buy a splitter for the printer or wire both printers to the gateway and use the printer on the network. And i’m not sure but i think you can use remote assistance to access the other computers files
