How to route the trafice to backup web server when main web server is crashed?

Q. I have a main web server in USA and backup server in INDIA. In case the main server in USA is crashed, how do i get the backup server in india will get all the internet traffic? Both servers have dedicated IP.

    Depending on what O/S you are using you would have to cluster them. With clustering both systems will be addressed with the same IP address from clients but the cluster service will route the request to the current active server.
