How to Transfer Songs from iPod To Computer FREE w/ iTunes
This shows you how to take songs from your ipod and put them onto any computer. This is great if your computer crashes, you reformat a lot, you accidentally deleted your files, or you just didn’t back them up. This video also shows how to have itunes organize the files automatically, so you don’t need to buy any software

I know the video doesn’t concern this but I really want to just play or transfer the music from my iPhone 3GS onto my new laptop but when I go to the iPhone file on iTunes, all my songs appear as “ghosted.” I know you can download touchcopy but I don’t want to download the full program until I know for sure that there’s no way to transfer the music.
Is there a way around this or a way to transfer the music from your iPhone onto Itunes? My old PC crashed and I lost all my songs.
