Swapping graphic card from Nvidia to ATI, do I need to reformat the computer?

Q. Currently I have a crappy 7300gs and going to replace it with a HD4670, would I need to reformat the whole computer? Because I currently have the Nvidia drivers.

Just remove the Nvidia driver and install the ATI. No reformatting needed.

Other than uninstalling the old and installing the new drivers the operating system will be fine.
