Can i plug in a cable router into a adsl router so then i can connect?

Q. I know this sound wierd but would this work

Phone line —— into a adsl router——-ethernet into a cable router

Would this work?

    Yes, it will work. I’m doing it myself. Runs fine.

    A pots line (plain old telephone service) does not support asymmetrical digital subscriber service. No way it can be done. Analog phones do not perform digital services.

    There is no such thing as a cable router or adsl router. Are you referring to a cable gateway or adsl gateway? If that is the case then in some instances it is possible when using crossover cables or straight through. Not in all cases though since it depends on the manufacturer of the equipment.
