I checked the manual for the M1530 (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/xpsm1530/en/OM/index.htm) but I could not find anything in the specifications. (not surprising since at the time this laptop was sold, there were no &quot;over-sized&quot; drives available) This pretty much means you will have to contact Dell directly and ask them.
