i loved oblivion but this game of the year edition ads very little for the money if you already have oblivion pass on this edition its not worth the extra 60 bucks

The game itself is interesting however somewhat redundant in scenery..my biggest complaint is the error messages ALL THE TIME !!! FROM BRAND NEW!! have to save continuously or you’ll have to start all over right in the middle of combat ….very frustrating…..others said the regular edition didnt have this problem…..maybe just got a bum disc..dont know..but I’ll think twice about another game from Bethesda though !!!!

Don’t buy this game unless you have already tested a friends DVD!

Many people can’t install their new game because the Securom protection software is dodgy. Nothing more annoying than being locked out of your own legitimately purchased software by overzealous dodgy protection software.

What’s with this game? It’s pretty terrible if you think about it, and overall pretty broken. Nonetheless, I’ve invested eight characters and 75 hours into it thus far. And it’s still better than anything currently out, which is depressing. So OBLIVION. Pretty bad, but i’m still playing weekly.

Previously Oblivion did not have SecuROM, but they decided to slip it into their Game of the Year versions. The GAME itself is a blast. SecuROM however can make you wish you never saw the installation CDs. Finally after six hours of repairing, this crap is off my computer.

If you want to play the game, I would highly advise finding a local secondhand software store and getting the Pre-GOTY version. Otherwise get bottle of advil first.
