how do i connect my laptop to my ADSL at home to my school computer which is also at home? what cable goes whe?
Q. re*? i got a green internet cable and i got the power cable but how do i make it work on my laptop? how do i make my ADSL internet work on my laptop? where does everything go in the laptop ? i know one goes in the modem. BEST ANSWER QUICK!

I had the same problem, but then i found out that u have to get a wireless iternet card ad so i did that and i had no problems with that and the best part about having a wireless card is that u can Wi-fi at places like Burger King Or Fry’n pan Or Denny’s ect. and it works good so i reccomend u get a Belkin G plus mimo ( which is around $40) and it can get signal from 1,000 feet away!! hope this helps
I’m confused, are you trying to connect both computers to the same ADSL modem? If so, you need a device called a “router” to share the internet connection between multiple computers. Otherwise, you simply just need to plug the network cable (looks like a fat phone cord) directly from the modem to your computer. By default, your computer should automatically detect it and start working right away.
