Q. How do I get rid of a virus that prevents executable files from running?
My computer has a virus that will prevents any executable files from running. I’ve looked online for help and all I can find are sites telling me to download software; and when I do, I can’t open it to use it.
Can anyone give me some quick help?

If it stopped all .exe files from running you would not be able to start up IE,FF etc.
Try downloading avast or restart you computer in safe mode then running any anti-virus program.
