Q. I have windows 7 evaluation copy that runs out in 4 days. I want to backup everything, but i don’t have an external harddrive. Could anyone explain how to partition my harddive and backup my stuff onto it?

Backing up to the same physical HDD is not a good idea. If the disk fails then everything is still lost.

    Hi Valvar,

I agree with Bubbles McGee. Backing up to an external harddrive is your best bet. A custom installation of a full version of Windows 7 will do a clean sweep of your programs and personal files. The good news is that if you choose to purchase a full version of Windows 7, there some cool backup and restore features: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Back-up-your-files.
