How do you detect and remove a Remote Management Spyware if someone placed it on your computer?

Q. are there any anti-virus, anti-spyware programs that can detect it, remove it and keep it from reinvading your computer? And, can the software track the culprit back to their own computer and give you their IP number?

If you have Windows, it comes with a firewall. You can change the settings so that it excludes any program. Whatever the remote management software is, it should be in the list of software program exceptions being allowed.

You may also want to check the settings for the Remote Desktop Connection program that comes with Windows.
