anyone that you want. a hd is an add-on, it will work with any motherboard/cpu and ram
Usually you want to build a computer based on the CPU and motherboard not the hard drive.
You will need to find a motherboard that supports SATA Drive, preferrably one that supports the 3.0 Gb/s technology.
As for RAM it would depend on what Operating system you are going to be running.
Windows XP : Min. of 1 GB
Windows Vista (32 bit) Min of 2 GB
Windows Vista (64 bit) Min. of 4 GB
CPU again will depend on your OS. If you are going to run a Dual Core: XP or Vista
Quad Core- Windows Vista 64 bit
Also your memory can be affected by which video card you install.
Integrated–> Will share memory usually want to have the equvilant to the video card above the above mentioned RAM
Suggest if you are a gamer to go with a Video card with at least 512 MB dedicated RAM
Once you know all this, plus what type of sound card you want, will you decide on the Power Supply.
Then the size of the motherboard will determine the size of the case:
ATX, Mini ATX, etc.
Really? Seriously?
You obviously need to do more research before you build a PC.
BTW, a CPU and a processor are the same thing.
