Q&A: How can I use a Lcd Comuter Moniter used for karaoke video screen?

I have a lcd flat panel 15″ computer monitor and want to adapt it to a video or s-video out source. I seen i can use a 80$ transformer but i don’t need that type of quality for the money. Is there a cord that I can use to convert the fitting? Can I make one from splicing them together? What will the quality be like if I do this or will it not work?
