@TheBoeing144 In the video it shows connecting power cables to the motherboard. Theres are 24pin and a 8pin power cables which comes from the power supply. Sorry we don’t have the case and power supply lesson for free on YouTube. You can find all of our lesson on the website listed on this videos description.

@Mikezalolz That was an example from an older video. The CPU we used for the 2009 and 2010 videos was an Intel Core i7 CPU that came with a cooler that had the compound already applied.

@Win7Tutorials2012 On the back panel of the motherboard those are USB 2.0. It also has Firewire and external USB that are read. I’m not sure why they are red. It may be those ports are going to an addon controller, ie. not going to the main chipset on the motherboard.

@Win7Tutorials2012 The red header on the motherboard is a Firewire header.

@mirzathecoolguy Do a Google search for case ‘front audio wiring’ you’ll see a link to hardwaresecrets. It has pretty good instructions for connecting the wires.

@jonesy66691 They are. You can pretty much put any ATX or Micro ATX motherboard into any ATX case.

@David279300 Good so you do have videos on the monitor. Like I said, this happens after you replace the motherboard. You’re going to have to reinstall Windows. You should probably use this opportunity to install Windows 7.

@David279300 You said the computer give you the option to use the last known good settings. Is this what is happening or is it just a blank screen all the time with the new motherboard installed?
