How come I can’t use the Advanced Photo Uploader on Facebook on Firefox?

I have already got the latest version of both Java and Firefox. It works on my Internet Explorer but not on my Firefox.

    Microsoft recently released a security update that has caused issues with the Advanced Photo Uploader. If you have installed this recent security update, when you attempt to use the advanced photo uploader, the install message: “Image Uploader ActiveX control is necessary…” will appear, even if you have already installed the uploader. You will not be able to upload photos with the advanced photo uploader.
