Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book is greyed out

Q: When creating a public address book the option Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book is greyed out.
A: You need to add the Outlook Address Book service to the mail profile.
- Select the tools menu in outlook.
- Select e-mail accounts
- Select view or change existing directories > next.
You should see an Outlook Address Book entry in there if not, choose Add, Additional Address Books, select Outlook Address Book...add it.
You will then be able to tick the "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book." box.

Thanks heaps. I knew it could be done but for the life of me couldn't remember how. Thanks heaps for this. Just what I needed. Accurate, brief and informative.

Didn't work for me. I had to "detect and repair" from help menu to get it to work.
